孩子们拿着太阳能灯，以后他们再也不用摸黑上学了。

　　本报平顶山讯“有了这盏灯，再也不用摸黑（上学）了”，2月15日早，鲁山县观音寺四小的孩子们笑了，由北京平安星减防灾教育中心（以下简称中心）送给孩子们上学路上照明用的太阳能灯，让他们上学路上不再摸黑。据悉，该中心联动平顶山志愿者协会，平顶山老促会等，已为平顶山鲁山县和宝丰县送了近2000盏太阳能灯。

　　据了解，从2017年2月12日起，中心“上学路上·要有光”公益项目工作人员就已抵达平顶山，陆续为山区孩子送灯。

　　“送灯的目的旨在关注孩子们上学安全，另外，希望给孩子们心中栽下一棵相互帮助的爱的小苗。”中心理事长刘国强说，经过多次调研，及与平顶山政府部门、公益机构的沟通交流，平安星了解到平顶山地区孩子们急需一盏灯来照亮孩子们上学的路，于是将“要有光”项目落地于平顶山市鲁山县、宝丰县的5所有迫切需求的小学，分别是赵沟小学（462人）、滴水崖小学（237人）、小店头小学（160人）、观音寺一小（595人）、观音寺四小（395人）。

　　刘国强说：“这些学校大多数学生每天必须在天未亮就起床，摸黑徒步行走近1小时山路，才能到达学校，路上没有照明设施，孩子们上学路上很容易摔倒及发生危险。”刘国强介绍，经过公益众筹及基金会支持，平安星共筹集近20万元共计近2000盏太阳能灯，所有太阳能灯全部发给孩子。

　　此外，中心还联合平顶山地区志愿者，为孩子们宣传安全知识，并进行应急逃生演练。
